I’m Prasad Sana

I’m a Software engineer and Data Scientist based in Bangalore. I’m currently with the Data Analytics team at Freight Tiger - a startup transforming the freight industry.

At Freight Tiger,

• I build customer-specific dashboards/reports to help customers get the maximum out of Freight Tiger’s products by exploiting data.
• Furthermore, I also automate monotonous tasks using Python, root cause analysis of reoccurring issues.

Before Freight tiger, I was with Infosys for 3.0 years. I spent 1.5 years in Bangalore as an SAP SD Consultant and 1.0 years in Hyderabad as a Data Professional in DNA unit analysing data with Python and building power BI dashboards. With the beat, I received Post Graduate Diploma in Data Science from IIIT, Bangalore.

I’m passionate about Science, Technology, extracting valuable insights from and training ML models. This has led me from Mechanical Engineering to SAP SD Consultant to Data Science. I love Python, Power BI and Jupyter notebook.

What about stuff outside of technology? Some misc facts about me:

• I live and work in Bangalore.
• Outside office hours, I usually plug in my earphones and go for a walk.
• I love hill stations and hiking
• I’m addicted to Biryani and chai
• I speak Telugu, Hindi and English.
